VGR hair dryers are designed for different styling routines, from everyday home use to frequent professional salon work. Compare motor technology, power, heat and speed settings, weight and included attachments to choose the model that best suits how you dry and style your hair.
Yes. The VGR range includes hair dryers developed for both everyday home styling and frequent professional use. Higher-specification models combine advanced motor technology, multiple heat and speed controls and salon-focused features for more demanding drying and styling routines.
Ionic technology releases negatively charged ions into the airflow to help reduce static and flyaways during drying. This helps the hair feel smoother, easier to manage and more controlled, while supporting a polished, less frizzy finish.
The Cool Shot button delivers a burst of unheated airflow. It is designed to be used at the end of drying or styling to cool the hair after heat exposure and help set the finished shape, leaving the style feeling more controlled and complete.
A diffuser spreads airflow gently across a wider area, helping preserve and enhance natural curls and waves while supporting volume and definition.
A concentrator focuses the airflow into a controlled stream, making it ideal for directed drying and creating a smoother finish.
A styling nozzle delivers a narrower, more precise airflow for shaping and finishing specific sections of the hair with greater control.
VGR hair dryers sold in the UK are designed for a 220–240 V electrical supply and are fitted with a UK 3-pin plug.
They can be used throughout most of Europe, where the standard supply is also 220–240 V. In countries using a different socket type, simply use a suitable UK-to-EU plug adapter.
Countries such as Ireland, Cyprus and Malta use the same UK-style Type G plug, so no plug adapter is normally required.
VGR UK hair dryers are not designed for 100–120 V electrical systems, such as those used in the United States, Canada and Japan. A standard travel plug adapter does not convert voltage and should not be used to operate the dryer on an incompatible electrical supply.
Check and clean the air intake and filter regularly to prevent dust, hair and styling residue from restricting airflow. Keeping the filter clear helps the dryer maintain consistent airflow and performance over time.
